EDMONTON, Alberta - The Edmonton Oilers did the improbable Friday night, forcing a decisive Game 7 against the Florida Panthers in the 2024 Stanley Cup Final.
The Oilers, facing elimination, rallied for a 6-1 victory in Game 4 at Rogers Place. They are only the third team in NHL history to win three games when facing elimination in the Stanley Cup Final.
Connor McDavid led the Oilers with two goals and two assists. Leon Draisaitl added a goal and two assists, and Zach Hyman had a goal and an assist.
Game 5 is scheduled for Tuesday night in Florida. The Panthers lead the series 3-1.
